Wedgemount

Located just north of Whistler, the Wedgemount hike was something I'd been wanting to do all summer. The hike is fairly steep, takes around 2-3hrs if you're fit, and at this time of year, expect rapid weather changes and snow, so pack accordingly! There are camping platforms at the top around the lake, two outhouses and a good-sized hut with a loft. A great day trip and the grind up is definitely worth it once you crest that last ridge and see the breathtaking views. It took us about 1.30 hrs to come back down, but we were hoofin' it a bit. With exploring the glacier at the top, lunch, and enjoying he views, it took us 6hrs.
